Best Xbox 360 games out or to look out for?

Im new so excuse any wrongness. Wanted to know the best Xbox games that are out because am getting an xbox soon. Please make a few decisions about which you feel is the best and then explain your decision whether it be online or single player to graphics and sfx. Just let me know Thanks in advance.

4. battlefield bad company is pretty cool. I got tired of COD4 and officially hate online play. GTA4 is a good one as well.
5. call of duty 3 or 4 (or both if you can afford it). They both have a pretty good storyline and there both great mulitplayer games. Rockband or Guitar Hero rock band is great if you play with friends but Guitar hero is better (and cheaper) for single player
6. Action games: Halo 3 - awesome campaign mode and very fun online play. Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots - creative story mode and sick online play. Adventure story games: Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion - never ending supply of adventure madness, the possibilities are endless (very fun). Grand Theft Auto IV - sweet story mode and awesome online play. Have fun playing Xbox Live!!!
